Job CategoryProducts and Technology Job DetailsJob Title Growth Analytics Lead, Strategy & Growth Location - San Francisco Role Description This position will report to the Director of Strategy & Growth of the Data Intelligence team, focusing on accelerating the growth of Trailhead (the fun way to learn Salesforce!). Day-to-day, the Lead will partner with the Trailhead Product and Marketing teams to define growth strategy, design and launch acquisition and retention campaigns, architect and conduct A/B tests, and guide the product roadmap to fuel adoption.This role requires expert-level experience driving growth, and technical expertise in data-mining, analysis, and visualization. Advanced communication skills are also crucial to the success of this role. All Strategy & Growth Leads must be able to build relationships and collaborate across a large, matrixed environment, and comfortably present findings to large groups of product executives. Responsibilities + Partner with Trailhead Leadership, Product, and Marketing to understand their growth objectives and define growth strategy + Own collection and reporting of key growth metrics. Lead telemetry efforts to complement existing instrumentation + Produce growth insights (retention/churn analysis, outreach attribution, behavioral cohorts) + Acquire and blend data from multiple sources (e.g. applogs, EDW, Pendo, Google Analytics), and conduct analyses using SQL and Python / R + Partner with Marketing to design and launch acquisition and retention outreach campaigns + Partner with Product to architect and conduct A/B tests, and guide the product roadmap + Contribute to expanding the Salesforce data-driven culture by growing new relationships, hosting learning sessions, integrating or designing new tools, improving team processes, and other lateral activities. + Deliver regular, easy-to-consume presentations to senior stakeholders and executives. Job Requirements: + Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, Business Management, or a closely related discipline. + 5+ years experience in growth analytics. Expert understanding of industry-standard product and marketing software growth levers. + Strong experience with SQL and product / marketing analytics tools (e.g. Pendo, Google Analytics). + Experience with Python/R, and BI tools (e.g. Salesforce Wave, Tableau) is a plus. + Strong communication and visualization skills; can easily create powerful visualizations that transform complex data into easily-consumable, actionable insights. + An extraordinarily curious person with a talent for uncovering patterns in large data sets. + Independent thinker who gets things done. + A pragmatic analyst, who detects presence and absence of patterns and independently identifies when to dive deeper in analysis and when to present early findings to balance effort to value. + Hands-on on Salesforce knowledge of products and functionality a plus.
