The Technology Solutions division of IQVIA develops, markets, and implements healthcare-focused enterprise software applications to help life sciences customers drive their business from molecule to market.

**Role**

We are currently looking for a qualified, Sr. Director , Sales, whose purpose is to direct a Sales team in selling powerful commercial compliance solutions that meet the growing demands of our U.S. life sciences clients. Initially, the role will also include management of a few large key accounts. The Director must help develop and implement overall go to market strategy within the US Compliance business unit for the commercial compliance Offerings, including identification and pull through of business development opportunities and ensure operational alignment with senior management priorities. You will also initiate and lead strategic initiatives and work with other functional management to develop implementation plans.

**Responsibilities**

+ Manage team members in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations and performance to agreed upon quotas. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.

+ Direct the hiring and selection process for sales staff by conducting candidate review through participation in the interviewing process. Establish methods to develop and evaluate office / region based on boarding processes.

+ Develop standard processes to ensure that staff has the proper materials, systems access and training to complete job responsibilities. Oversee the execution of the training plan and mentored training experiences for a region / office / country. Act as a coach and mentor for team members.

+ Work collaboratively with customers and other functional leadership to manage customer related challenges to achieve exemplary customer service.

+ Manage the team?s yearly budget (revenue and operating income) and ensure appropriate financial controls and processes are in place to maximize revenue and effectively manage costs.

+ .

+ Meet with customers, deliver presentations, ensure team members deliver high quality and timely proposals and communicate proposals to customers in a professional manner. Provide senior level leadership for the negotiation with customers to achieve a successful outcome.

+ Liaise with appropriate company support functions and other applicable go to market teams to achieve new business targets and operational delivery.

+ Work with operational leaders to strengthen relationships with existing clients and generate awareness for new opportunities.

+ Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry's Code of Practice

**Job Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related field with 10 years? experience including 7 years line management experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

+ Understanding and knowledge of Life Sciences and/or Pharma Industry is required.

+ Preferred- current understanding of compliance solutions & deliverables

+ Understanding of the deeper/wider work of IQVIA including business development and go to market strategies.

+ Understanding of the economic environment in which the organization is operating.

+ Fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong planning and financial management skills.

+ Ability to lead, influence and motivate others.

+ Ability to manage conflicting priorities.

+ Ability to manage business process change.

+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, manager and clients.
